Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is situated in the U.S. of  Montana.The park comprehends over 1,000,000 acres (4000 km2) and more than 1000 different species of plants and  more than 100 species of animals  here living from thousand of years.The mountain goat is the official symbol of  Glacier National Park .It announced  as world heritage site in 1995. The mountains of Glacier National Park started to taking shape 170 million years ago when ancient rocks were forced eastward up and over much younger rock layer. Approximate 150 glacier which subsisted in the park in the mid 19th century, only 25  active glacier rested by 2010.
